The year of self development

A year has passed since I got home from New York and during the past year I have experienced quite a lot and  I could actually call it “the year of self development”

I came back to DK from the most wonderful stay in New York  and from not to have a job, to studying, to having a part time job, to get my coach certification and now to have a full time job again and moving to another city. And in between all that the best part was having chances to meet so many great people who had taught me so much about life both  in positive and negative ways and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I could write books about how much the New York trip and the past year mean to me and to my own self development – but the biggest lessons I have learned during the past year are :

1) if you want changes – create them and remember to bring your heart along

2) believe that things will work out

3 ) believe in your own strengths

And the most important –

4) learn to be grateful

🙂

Take good care my friends!

A short post inspired by the “Golden Girls”

Continuing with my Golden Girls mode..

In an episode regarding parenting, Dorothy Zbornak, played by Beatrice Arthur said : “Don’t do what is easiest but do what is best for the kids “, and this phrase has made a great impact on me. But not as in parenting, but in life generally.

We often choose the easiest decision/solution in life, like continuing with what we are doing instead of making a change and break out of the routine, and the easiest solution is often also with less risks. But does this mean that it is the best for us?

Think about it for a while…

To end this short post I would like to share a quote by Isaac A. Morales

“A life without risk is a life not lived”
